Suzuki has entered the electric two-wheeler market with the launch of its first-ever electric scooter, the e-Access, at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Built on the platform of the popular Access 125, the e-Access brings a fresh design, modern features, and eco-friendly performance to the table.
Design and Features
The Suzuki e-Access adopts a sleeker design language compared to its petrol-powered counterpart. It features an LED headlight with a vertical LED DRL strip, a smart key for keyless ignition, LED tail lights, alloy wheels, and a USB charging port behind the front apron. These upgrades add to its premium appeal.
The scooter also comes equipped with a TFT display, offering smartphone connectivity, navigation, and other smart features. Suzuki is offering the e-Access in three stylish dual-tone colors:
- Metallic Mat Black 2
- Pearl Grace White
- Pearl Jade Green
Performance and Battery
The e-Access is powered by a 3.07kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, delivering a claimed range of 95 km on a single charge. Paired with a 4.1kW motor, it offers a top speed of 71 km/h, making it ideal for city commutes.
Charging options include:
- Standard charging: Full charge in 6 hours and 42 minutes
- Fast charging: Full charge in just 2.2 hours
The scooter also features multiple ride modes, including Eco, Ride A, Ride B, and a reverse mode for easy maneuverability.
Ride Quality and Braking
The Suzuki e-Access offers a comfortable ride with telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. The braking system includes a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, ensuring reliable stopping power.
